Architectural Roofing is Western New York’s most popular, in-demand option – and for good reason. Also known as laminated or dimensional shingles, architectural roofing shingles are among the highest quality roofing products made. Common brands are Owens Corning and CertainTeed. Traditionally, these shingles are composed of a heavy fiberglass mat base and ceramic-coated mineral granules that are tightly embedded in carefully refined, water-resistant asphalt.

Yes, but the price is determined by need, and not included in the quote. Moderate roof rot is a major structural issue, but it is difficult to spot without tearing off the old shingles first. After we strip the roof down to the plywood, we’ll determine which pieces we should replace and then add additional charges.
Some vulnerable roof areas, such as around chimneys, require flashing (sheet metal) which serves as a surefire stopgap for any leakage. Flashing requires a skilled contractor to install. When you hire us to replace your roof, you’ll never have a problem with your flashing.
Yes, but nothing too difficult. We recommend you maintain records and conduct routine inspections to assure everything is working properly.
Your Prestige Home Exteriors team will dispose of any materials removed from your old roof. During the process, we will work with you on where to place materials for disposal, where new materials are staged and where to park vehicles.
Yes. We will provide you a detailed quote which will include removal of the old roof.
